Innovative Design.

You’ll find that your 3-in-1 Fishing Umbrella has some very clever design features. The first thing you’ll notice is the distinctive shape of the front of the canopy. One of the ribs is a little shorter than the others. There are two reasons for this. It provides slightly more headroom and increased visibility when configured as an umbrella. But when turned around 180 degrees and laid flat on the ground, configured as a Bivvy Umbrella, it creates increased stability. It enables the ribs on either side of it to make straight-line contact with the ground, thus making your fishing bivvy umbrella more stable in the wind.

The edge of the 2.2-meter diameter canopy incorporates a rugged high-quality zip. This is where you attach the 3/4 wrap-around windbreak panel, with its two clear plastic side viewing windows. But you’ll notice two other shorter zips. It’s here that you attach the side wings when configured as a fishing bivvy. Look carefully at the strong windproof steel ribs of your 3-in-1 Fishing Umbrella and you’ll notice the clever integral twisted loops at the ends of each alternate rib. This is where you can attach the nylon guylines to help secure it in the wind. There’s also a gap moulded into the top cap of the umbrella where you can also attach the guylines.

Quality.

What’s more, the 2-piece coated steel shaft is height adjustable with a nice quality twist-action thumbwheel clamp. You can also adjust the angle of the canopy to maintain shade as the sun tracks across the sky. The fabric of the 3-in-1 Fishing Umbrella is dark green on the outside and metallic silver on the underside. The specification is 1500mm HH PU coated 210D Oxford Polyester with UV protection. Lightweight, waterproof yet also UV protective. And you’ll notice the small details which make for a quality product. We’ve paid great attention to the quality of the stitching. The corners of the wind shelter panel are reinforced. We’ve double-stitched the nylon webbing ground fixings. These have strong steel D rings for pegging to the ground and are slightly elasticated so that they give rather than break in the wind. Finally, your umbrella also includes steel pegs, nylon guylines, and a very handy drawstring closing shoulder-strap carry sleeve. When packed in its shoulder strap carry bag the length is 125 cm and weight including poles and all zip-on side shelters is 3.2 kg.
