PitchPal Umbrella Tent is a huge rectangular garden, beach, or fishing umbrella. Zip the all-round wind shelter around the lower edge of the canopy and hey presto it’s a tent! As a result, it’s the ideal solution when you need to set up quickly.

PitchPal Umbrella Tent Specification

The fabric is PU (polyurethane) coated Oxford Polyester 210D with a 1500 mm hydrostatic head. You can protect and maintain the longevity of the fabric by spraying it from time to time with a proprietary tent waterproofing spray such as Nikwax.

With a coated steel frame, PitchPal is a sturdy and robust 8 ribbed umbrella tent. Though actually octagonal, the ribs are deliberately spaced to create more of a “rectangular” shape. This enables wider frontage, which can be useful in many circumstances. The large front panel has two access zips, positioned vertically, one at each side. As an option, if preferred, the entire front windowed panel can be rolled and tied up leaving the front of your umbrella tent completely open.

The 2-section centre pole is height adjustable with a solid thumbscrew clamp. The pole also has a flexi-spring section, enabling the canopy to be tilted at an angle if preferred. We recommend the use of a ground anchor or umbrella base. The outer perimeter of the canopy has a rugged, high-quality zip to which the all-around wind shelter can be attached as an option. Once attached, you can adjust the height of the centre pole and peg the lower edge of the wind shelter to the ground with the pegs provided. Alternatively, the pole can be raised higher which leaves a gap at the bottom of the wind shelter (side walls). Furthermore, you can then attach and peg down the short guy lines provided.
